Charter Auctions
Project: A comprehensive website redesign to establish a cleaner look and stronger brand identity, integrate the latest BidJS auction API, and implement a complex lead form integration with Monday.com.

The Challenge
Charter Auctions initiated a "V2" redesign of their website with the primary goals of modernising the front-end with a cleaner aesthetic and a stronger brand identity. Beyond the visual overall, the project had significant technical requirements: integrating the latest version of the BidJS auction API and, crucially, transitioning all website lead forms to feed directly into their newly adopted CRM, Monday.com.
The Solution
The Juniper Studio managed the project from initial design concepts through to complex post-launch data integrations, working in close collaboration with the client.
Phase 1: Design & Strategy
Following the project agreement, we worked with the client to define the new visual identity. This involved collaborating on initial designs and establishing the core brand elements, including the font family (Urbane), a specific blue and orange colour palette, and new SVG/PNG assets. We strategically planned a 2-week development sprint, pausing content publications in Prismic, to align with the client's "down period" during an office move, ensuring maximum efficiency.
Phase 2: CRM & Form Integration
A critical part of the project was adapting to the client's internal transition to Monday.com. Our team engineered a solution to integrate all web forms directly with the new CRM. This involved developing a modal overlay for the "Sell with Us" form and successfully configuring the system to pass all form data, including initial problem points like image uploads, directly into the correct areas of Monday.com. A Google Captcha was also added to prevent spam.
Phase 3: Development & Iteration
We rolled out the new designs across the site, including the "Private Treaty" and "About Us" pages, which featured a new "green commitment" hero. We used a shared Monday.com document for a transparent and efficient feedback loop, allowing us to address client requests for specific tweaks, such as adjusting mobile layouts, "Steps" functionality, and resolving Prismic preview issues.
Phase 4: Post-Launch Data Synchronisation
Following the launch, we continued to refine the site. The client provided detailed feedback on the "Private Treaty" pages regarding filter behaviour and image consistency. We diagnosed that data and image discrepancies were linked to an external service (Equipt's CDN). To solve this, we coordinated with Equipt's developers to implement a webhook and set up daily automatic deployments at midnight, ensuring that the Equipt data on Charter's servers is refreshed and remains up-to-date.
Results & Ongoing Enhancements
The project successfully delivered a modern, on-brand website that met all the client's aesthetic and functional goals.
- Streamlined Operations: The new Monday.com integration automated the client's lead generation pipeline, allowing them to capture all necessary data and images from web forms and cancel previous software subscriptions.
- Data Integrity: We established a robust, automatic synchronisation system between the website and the third-party Equipt data source, ensuring auction and product data remains accurate.
- Ongoing Partnership: We continue to support Charter Auctions. Our relationship has included consultations on future enhancements, such as UI/UX improvements for auction buttons and the potential for website internationalisation to serve a Belgian market.
